Is this a trick question?
O.K. the simple answer is..
192.168.0.xxx (xxx starting at 101 ending at 110)
with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
and no default gateway.
More complicated...
Will you have access to a Wide Area Network (like the internet)?
If yes, then the answer gets a little more complicated.
For instance...
What will you be using as a router?
What will you use for e-mail?
Will you be using D.H.C.P. or will your I.P. adresses be all static?
What about access to any web sites on your L.A.N.?

Any private (non-routable) range of IP addresses is fine for private LANs. The most common is the 192.168.1.x range, simply because lots of routers are shipped with that configuration.

the normal use for internal addressing is 192.168.15.1 your router would take that in which case if you dont have i would use 192.168.15.1 to192.168.15.11 ,the easiest thing to do is to go to the store get a router and som switches and use DHCP. which will automatically assign ip addresses to each machine.
