I Have A 1988 Dodge Dakota and none of the light or the blinker work on the left back.....i've bought new bulbs, changed the fuses, redid the wiring.....why are the left back lights not working???

The ground wire to that corner is loose.

This is a Common Problem with Chrysler products.
The Tail light Assemblies loose their Grounds where the Loom enters the assembly. Sometimes it is nessecary to replace the complete assembly to cure it.

You definitely need to take a closer look at all connections for corrosion and make sure you have good contact. I'm pretty sure you have an open in the circuit somewhere. Get you a schematic to trace your wires and check thoroughly. Good luck.

Check your ground. the turn and park lights are on different power feeds. If they are both in op then you have a ground problem or a damaged wiring harness.

If power and ground are present at the sockets of said tailight then I would guess the socket themselves are no good.

no ground run another wire.use a wire brush to expose shiny metal where attaching it
