Andrew. You got my point. I agree that there is always pressure for the home team to win the 1st two games. In most cases those games are split, giving the real home fierld advantage to the other team.

I agree because their role when playing games 1 & 2 on the road is to steal one of those games. Same senario in the NBA. When the team with games 3,4 & 5, they can take care of business at home and that team with the extra home game may never go back home. The pressure is on the team with home field to win those 1st two games at home, so even if they loose games 3,4 &5, they go back home with a chance to win game 6 to tie the series up a 3 and win game 7. The Cardinals can wrap up the World Series later on tonight because they stole game one of the World Series in Detroit and won games 3 & 4.

I think it depends on how the series plays out.

If the road team wins 1 out of the first 2 away, then having those home games is good because they really only need to win 2/3 at home, then 1 of 2 on the road to win (SL over Mets)

If the home team for games 1&2 wins both, the series is over (refer World Series - Sox and the Sox)

If the first two are split, then games 3/4/5 are an advantage.

So it kinda depends.

I were observing NBA considering that 1993 & I not in any respect considered 3-a million who loses in abode courtroom. I did considered 3-2 & who's most excellent by technique of three continually wins both abode courtroom or the opponent abode courtroom it really is 4-2. i don't think of the Lakers will lose back in recreation 6. If the Lakers might want to triumph over the Nuggets in there abode courtroom, they could do it back in basic terms the Nuggets did the day till now on the instantaneous. P.S. The Lakers needs a clean coach because this offense isn't operating. Phil Jackson likes protection then offense.

The home team does not win all of the three middle games most of time. They key IMO is for the home team to win the first two games.

I don't think so, the other team gets to play 4 games in their own ballpark especially the pivotal 6th and 7th games. I would say it's about even.
