Rarely, the truth is mind rattling and impossible to bear.
There are a few blinding, maddening truths out there.

If the truth was not at times too hard to handle, there would be no need for the unconscious mind and there would be absolutely no mental illnes. So, yes, sometimes the truth is too much to handle. In some aspect of our lives, this is true for every one of us. Check out any school of psychology

Yes. Definitely so. but the beauty of it is that the truth always sets you free. No matter how difficult or hard it may seem, one must always prefer truth above the lie. Lies hurt and destroy, thruth heals and build up. Even if the consequences are hard to dealwith, you'll find that after a while it has been worth the while, for then you experience the joy and freedom that truthand only truth can bring!

as long as you say it gently and with a lot of heart, then the truth should be said, its just some people can say things so bluntly that they make the truth sound worse than it really is. If the person tellin the truth even if its bad news has tact, then its all good

The truth may be hard to handle but a lie left unchecked will grow alarmingly fast and overwhelm your life. One lie just leads to another lie to cover up for the first lie.

I notice this a lot because when I speak the truth, people seem to look at me weird or people seem not want to be around me.

Not for me it hasn't been. But then I've actually wanted the truth, no matter what.

Yes, I agree with you. Because when I warned my friend as my own way of repaying his kindness, he disliked me. Saying that i was a judgmental person. So, that's the way it is... he did not consider it as a warning and my only way to repay him. But at least, with that, I've known him as a guy with unannounced intention.
