I am a college freshman who will be attending the ballet for the first time tomorrow evening. The theatre we are going to does not have a specific dress code, and I was wondering if a pink spaghetti strap sundress (knee length) would be okay to wear with a fitted jean blazer over top. It almost looks like I am wearing a pink skirt with a jean blazer. I also have a brown and pink blazer if jean wouldn't be appropriate.. Any ideas? Or should I just go with black dress pants and a sweater?

I think it sounds nice.... go with the pink dress and jean blazer..

Nothing that you mentioned is inappropriate for the event. In this case, you should go with whichever of those outfits you would feel the most comfortable in.
My personal style would lead me to the dress with the pink & brown blazer because I love that color combination.

Now days people wear sleepers to those places, but it is not good for society.
In my opinion you should use the brown and pink.

Any of it sounds fine, but I would go with the dress with either jacket.
