Don't bash me folks, if you disagree do it using logic, reason and facts, not insults

Seems the overwhelming argument is that you don't like Christians shoving their opinions and morals down other people's throats. Well thats a good enough reason. Now what about Muslims? Seems like a while ago there was this thing called terrorism? I'd rather listen to Pat Robertson piss me off than Akmed bombing my office building

The liberals will blame us Christians, but that hardly explains their amazing tolerance for the terrorists, now does it?

(See Mark M's answer as case in point--ethnocentric liberals calling Christianity "blood-soaked" as if our entire HUMAN history is not blood-soaked).

I'll take their blame for their hatred of me, quite frankly. Their approval is to be shunned, for to have it, I would have to GIVE UP MY ENTIRE BELIEF SYSTEM.

They hate us because we are standing in the way of their socialization of the USA...

I'm not going to bash you...I will just disagree with you.

I respect all Religions and your right to say what you feel even though I don't believe... you are being very Christian by accusing an entire group of people of despising Christianity.

I am a Liberal and I am proud to say that I have tolerance for any Religion...including Christianity because I am a Christian!

I don't understand why some people associate belief or non belief in Religion, by what Political Party a person is a member of.

My belief in God has nothing to do with my Political Party or my Government.

I am not aware of liberals, in general, who bash Christians. They bash theocratic radicals. The two are not necessarily synonomous to each other. Christians follow the precepts of Christ in giving and loving their fellow people. Radicals want to force their views down the throats of others whether they like it or not. There is a giant difference between the two. I am anti-theocratic radicalism, no matter what guise it wants to take, whether that be Christian or Muslim. All fanaticism does is exacerbate already difficult situations. Don't spout moral values as a cause and then vote against taxes, welfare or any other thing which helps the less fortunate. That is hypocrisy and has no place within any religion.

If I can't bash you I'll surely not pat you on the back!! There's nothing wrong with christianity or christians or catholics or any other religion for that matter as long as they keep their beliefs separate from their politics. Christian followers tend to let one issue or another define/narrow their political loyalty and they do so without putting much thought into it. The only thing I despise is some right wing christian nut job trying to get his philosophies made into laws or political policies that affect everyone even though most deem them unnecessary.

Just because muslims follow the Islamic faith does not mean all muslims are towel-head terrorists---Making a racist comment does not qualify your efforts to make a point!!

Easy - the liberal philosophy is to make things fair. In America, Christianity has always had a status above other religious denominations, so Christians are the majority. Liberals do promote tolerance for other religions, esp Islam because that makes our home grown muslims and other groups feel more welcome here. Liberals don't like to hurt other people's feelings by excluding them. Some hate Christianity, but those are the extreme liberals. Most are level headed and do not hate Christianity.

The liberals (i'm liberal... reasonable) do no longer unavoidably propose a faith. Neither do I. we've records that empower the persons to prepare regardless of faith they choose for. Why might liberals flow against that? it would be incorrect and un-American to disclaim absolutely everyone prepare of their favorite dogma. there is likewise something stated as "separation of church and state", it extremely is objective is to create a wall of separation between each and every thing it extremely is faith and government. it extremely is additionally being upheld. So, the respond on your question is "particular". the two those issues make treating Muslims as though they have been of the different faith, politically appropriate. So merely like each and every physique else, till they initiate performing like the spouse beating ***holes, drunks, hookers, druggies, homeless human beings, and thieves interior the tutor law enforcement officials, they're unfastened to maintain on with their aims.

If you want people to respond using facts, you might want to try posing a question that is actually based on facts, rather than ridiculous slander. Most Democrats ARE Christian. We're just the kind of Christians that actually do what Jesus taught - you know - helping the poor and all of that other nonsense that conservatives despise.

Okay, I won't bash you...but, are you serious? MANY liberals ARE Christian! Just because they want to promote tolerance of all faiths doesn't mean they hate Christianity. What, do you think all liberals are atheists, or something? (Not that all atheists despise Christianity, either.) I would ask that YOU use some reason and logic to support your point of view, please. You are the "accuser" here, and so the burden of proof lies with you.
--I will add that it is frustrating when religion is used as an excuse for bigotry. That so many "Christians" would use the Bible as a means to deny certain groups their inalianable rights (the pursuit of happiness, which must surely include the right to marry whom you choose) is appalling, especially when they are so vehement in this one respect, yet ignore other "sins" (you don't see them pushing legislation to make adultery illegal.) Nothing other than bigotry can explain the discrepency. And anyone who would deny this is, well...in denial!

Jesus was a Liberal dummy that's why they put him to death. We on the left don't hate you because you say your a Christian we hate you for doing the devil's work in God's name there is a difference. We also hate radical Muslim's who would blow things up and kill people. And you know what when i say hate i really mean Dislike because we don't actually Hate anyone. Most of you neo-cons are not Christians anyway they are only using Christians( who are trusting and gullible) to move their agenda by getting their votes . Real Christians and I know some are Great people. To also make a point this is why we should have a seperation of Church and State. America is for EVERYONE not just "Christians". I mean really think about it; of all the people on the earth that GOD could have talked to and had do his bidding the best he could find was W.??????????

There are a whole lot of Christians who are also Liberals. And there are a who lot of Liberals that happen to be Christians. So I'm really not understanding your question.
You asked not to be bashed, yet you bash. You asked that disagreement be met with logic, reason and facts but where are your logic, reason and facts??

I don't dispise Christianity, for I am a Christian. But I don't like it when someone thinks another religion is not worthy of anything because it is not Chrisitanity.

Too many sit in judgement of others because they do not believe as they do. I think that it goes against what the Christian faith preaches, and there are a lot of hypocritical Christians out there.

It has nothing to do with "liberal" or "conservative", it has to do with the logic you speak of.
