People will always make music.

However if there was no money involved people would have to fid other ways of surviving. Less time for music...less people making music and probably not upto as good a standard technically...

That's a good question. I don't think that in any profession that anyone would put forth a great deal of effort if they didn't get something in return (like money). I believe there may be people who like to entertain music wise but probably not known world-wide and with the glits and glamour. They wouldn't have to money to pay for everything that goes into the profession unless they were already rich.

Absolutely! Most musicians create music because they love it. It's their passion. Get paid for it is just a nice bonus!

It'd actually be a pretty good, cause it would get rid of all the people who are only in the music biz for the money. Which would leave the people who are in it for the love of the music and the fans.

There would be a lot fewer people doing it, but the people doing it would be more dedicated and less likely to make music for the lowest common denominator.

we would have those music addicts producing little music, but they will be a sort of beggars and they would have become the rejects of our society.
