Set a goal. It can be anything. Reach that goal. Pat yourself on the back. Repeat.

Confidence comes from accomplishing. It is a self-concept which can be reached by setting goals and accomplishing them. Thus you accumulate a list of accomplishment on which to base you confidence. You can start by writing a list of all the things you have accomplished (large or small), then start adding to the list each day as you reach the goals that you set. Start with some attainable , yet challenging goals and as you accomplish them keep stretching yourself to high harder goals. You soon will have a health self-concept and self-confidence.

Confidence comes from within, its a matter of self-concept. You have to decide to be the best person that you are created to be. Start to look at what you truly are, accept evrything that you are --- not just your strengths but weaknesses as well. In addition, relate to people more and appreciate more, as you build people around your circle you would doubly return the favor to yourself. God bless!

A rule of thumd (or a psychological empowerment technique), start of by saying to youself "I dont give a damn about what they think!!!" and try to be what you wanna be like without fearing anything becoz you dont care about what others think, its just you and the world trying to work out some issues. That will kind of give a jump start to your confidence engine, then you can kind of ease off gradually, as you build up more confidence in yourself.

The best thing I ever did (and I was sort of shy) was take a public speaking course. I thought I would DIE!!! But I didn't. I felt a 1000 times more confident afterwards. Graduating that course was better than graduating from University, it was that powerful for me.

Good luck.

Self-confidence is having confidence in oneself. I think you have to find deep within you what makes you hold your head up high, and use it in everyday life. I want you to think of something exciting that will happen each day, by the end of that day make that exciting thing happen.

first look in the mirror and list down the things you like about yourself and the things that you think needs improvement. Then ask yourself the qualities you like about urself and the things you don't like. Then ask close friends how they perceive you.If you think you are that person and happy about it then i guess you should believe it,The things they don't like well,if you want to improve it then by all means do it.Basically its accepting the personality you have and if your not happy about it then do something to improve it.Maybe, maybe at the end of the day you would like yourself better.
