the ELECTED (democracy by Bush) Iraqi government is taking their time to stand up and do what we all want - fight their own fight for their democracy (by Bush)? Like a probate lawyer who dare not resolve a prabate issue because as long as the issue is open, he is getting his fees. Well, the Iraqi government is doing the same thing, as long as we, Americans, are their, billions and billions more will be spent there, specially in most cases, billions to be pocketed by the Iraqi and Republican politicians and their cronies.

Its way more complicated than that-first you had several of the original assassinated and then the insurgents fighting against anything American or remotely connected to it and now you have Muslims fighting, killing Muslims two opposing factions, Sunis VS Sheites-like one stroke away from all out civil war. What the US Govt is doing by giving the Iraqi Govt timetables -is saying that they cannot stay there forever-You now have a Govt elected by the Iraqi people and it needs to accomplish such and such esp disarm the militia(since they have the majority of arms very difficult to do but essential) and then after all this help given but the Iraqi Govt can't get it together-then theres a way for the US to pull out and save face. Thinking that the Iraqis would be so grateful to the US for having gotten rid of tyrant Sadaam, form their own Govt(and know how to be a democracy even though never have been) and then be friends with the US and naturally US would have a OIL ALLY with most then shipped to US in return for US trade, help and so forth---this is not happening and doubt it will so there no longer is a purpose for the US to be there and esp to die in Iraq.
