Do you tend to respect a large woman more if she is dressed well and is otherwise attractive?

If she has a genuinely pretty face, beautiful hair, nice make-up, nails, etc....fat, but not sloppy.

Large, small or what-have-you, we are all taking the measure of others by how they look. We are culturally conditioned to see if others measure up to this or that expectation and categorization. Everyone fits into this slot or that box. Clean, neat and well mannered always helps....perhaps some of the 'not large' should keep that in mind.

Yes. Large or small, I tend to more respect someone who's put some time into their personal appearance and seems to care about themselves.

People who are sloppy, wearing dirty or wrinkled clothes, look unkempt or have poor hygiene just don't command as much respect - even if they're a size 0.

For me, respect does not come in any size package. I respect you if you respect me...it does not matter if your fat, obese, skinny, ugly, pretty or even sloppy. If your nice to me and treat me with respect, it does not matter what you look like, I will show the same respect back.

Neat is always more respectable, regardless of weight. Hopefully we try not to judge people on their appearance, like in the case of obesity. I think it's a common practice even if we don't want to be mean but disrespect based on weight is not cool.

Yes. I believe that no matter what size you are, if you take care of your appearance you automatically gain respect. Larger women, even more so.

someone's weight or size is not something that enters into the equation when i'm calculating respect.

but any person who at least cares enough to show themself a little self respect deserves it.
