I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon, but I liked it a lot. It's a more relaxed water park, in comparison to Blizzard Beach. Blizzard Beach features more speed and thrill slides. But Typhoon Lagoon has the Crush n' Gusher, which is an uphill water slide. There's also a massive wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon. I think either park would be good, depending on the people you go with.
I've never been to Wet and Wild, but I'm sure it's fun. I generally make it my policy to avoid that part of International Drive during peak tourism season, because it's on the opposite side of the I-4 from Universal and traffic gets crazy on I-Drive.

Blizzard Beach has more exciting rides and a more chaotic, crazy feel to it. Most teens (myself included) are attracted to places that are lively and unpredictable - such as Unviersal's Islands of Adventures - and BB meets that standards. Just keep in mind, though, that it's still a Disney Park and thus it's still going to be rather childish.
