x + 2 - x + 2 - 12x

4-12x (-12x+4)

x+2-x+2-12x = -12x+4

4 - 12x but you can't have an answer in that order so it is:
-12x + 4 that is the correct way to write it because the variable always comes first.....remember PEMDAS (powers, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction) although PEMDAS doesn't really apply to this question
