I can't eat bananas anymore, just looking at them for some reason makes me feel like puking... What foods can you no longer eat or even LOOK AT now that you're pregnant? Is it common to be disgusted by certain foods? Is something wrong with me, am I sick? This has been happening for 2 months with the bananas and I didnt know why... now I know, don't I? I found out a couple days ago that I was.. but am I ok for being grossed out by foods that I usually love to eat? I'm new at this pregnancy, baby inside of me sort of thing. Again, what foods grossed/gross you out during your/your spouse's pregnancy?

actually no foods really made me sick when i was pregnant with my son except oj, it gave me heartburn so bad, and nothing so far really bothers me with this one (35 weeks into it), just food in general right now, everytime i eat i feel like i want to explode
you are fine, you're tastes will change, and they might go back to normal after birth..

Yep, it's completely normal. The foods that disgust you may be totally different from someone else. And your food aversion may go away, so you may get to eat banana's before your pregnancy is over. I couldn't stand the smell of parmesean cheese and garlic, so needless to say Italian food was out of the question. Luckily it only lasted the first 4 months and after that I could eat all of the lasagna I wanted! I had a huge problem though. My inlaws invited me and my hubby over for dinner and they had shrimp fettucini which is loaded with garlic and parm. cheese. I just 'picked' at it because it grossed me out so much!

When I was pregnant, for the first half of my pregnancy I couldn't stand the sight/smell/taste of chicken. The one time my husband sent me in to Harvey's to get some burgers and the Swiss Chalet was next door in the same plaza, I had to make a run for it. I also couldn't eat eggs, and pickles just grossed me out. Normally I love all of these things. After about 30 weeks, I could eat them again without problems.

So yes, what you're experiencing is totally normal!

With my first pregnancy food in general cooking or just looking at made me sick, I lost the baby.
My first born It was more food I couldn't eat before I was pregnant that I craved during pregnancy, I hated anything to so with tomato, fish, broccoli.
My second I was right to eat most things, that i can remember.
This pregnancy is killing me, I love fruit but cant stand to eat it, even orange juice I'm right till the baby gets it then its up, unless its concentrated.

When I was pregnant with my 2nd child I couldn't stand the smell or taste of corn. Just opening a can made me want to puke. She will be 5 next week and I am just now starting to eat it again.
On the other side when I was pregnant the 1st time I craved crab legs. My son is almost 9 and crab legs are his favorite food. To bad be can't afford to have them more often.

every pregnancy is different just because you are grossed out by things you loved to eat dosent mean its gonna stay that way. eat what looks good and eat small portions at a time 4 or 5 times a day. its a normal thing, and it will be over soon.

I got sooooooooo lucky. I had no morning sickness and no weird food "hates" but I DID have one incident where I walked into a Thai restaurant, STARVING and eager to eat and took one whiff of the spices and went running and gagging out the door. I had my baby a year ago and still have not set foot in a Thai restaurant again.

You are normal. this is so very common among us. Now that I'm not pregnant the only thing that I still can't do is dig in dirt! I was planting flowers during my first pregnancy and seeing the little creatures that live in the soil did me in. I've got 4 children now but I still can't stand to see bugs in the dirt!

It si normal, a bit early but normal. I could not stand to even look at meats like ham roast or pork loin, gross pizza the smell alone made me sick, Not to mention the worst for me was my mother in laws pasta sauce, if she was coking it & I walked in the door I went right for the bathrrom, i knew! But I craved itailian subs w/ extra , exra dressing so the bun wa super soggy late at night , which now makes me sick thinking I used to eat it!

Before I got pregnant I loved alfredo sauce...during my pregnancy it started to seem really gross to me. If I had Italian, I wanted marinara sauce. The bad thing is, that's the only food aversion that's stayed with me. My daughter is one now, and I still have very little use for alfredo sauce.
