ARTWORK! Go to a large art supply store and just see how many projects you can come up with! There are books on introduction to cartooning, 'serious' drawing/painting, collage (one of my favorites!). There are those foam thingies which can be made into doorknob hangers for each individuals room. I have found abstract shapes in various colors of craft paper pasted onto other craft paper was very fulfilling for all age ranges and abilities. Have fun! That's the main thing!

well it kind of depends if they are boy or girl . boys seem to be in to video games more but maybe they could get into play acting . pick out a good book and give them parts, help them dig out old junk from storage for props and let them go. at the end maybe have family over to show the play to (depending on their embarassment level). it is a good way to while away the long winter.
