UGH. I know exactly how you feel. I used to spend most of my night calling friends to stay on the phone with me while I did "burglar checks" and looked in the most ridiculous places to see if someone was hiding to "get me". The #1 most helpful thing I did for myself was getting a pet. If I had my pet in bed with me I felt safer and if the pet was walking around the house than any noises I heard could be blamed on it. LOL! I also started saying (this is silly, I know, but it worked for me) a prayer each night and asked specifically that the Angel Gabriel be provided as my personal guardian angel for the night. I'm not sure why Gabriel is always the one I wanted but it's the most powerful angel I knew of. I'm married now and am much better since I don't live alone but I still get scared. I have nightlights in every room of the house and always leave at least one kitchen light on (stove light most typically) and I make sure all the locks are in place before going to bed. Again, I call my pet to bed with me as well when my husbands not available to sleep in the bed. It's also empowering to take note of your surroundings and know what can be used as a weapon. I like knowing that my flashlight is next to the bed but can also be used effectively as a weapon.

That's kind of a difficult question to answer because you're not giving enough information. If you don't feel safe in your own home, you need to either leave and find a safer environment or figure out a way to make your home a more secure place.

You should leave to a place you feel safe. Or if you are unable to leave by yourself, call someone.
Are you very young? You can call child protective services to help you if you are under 18.

A shelter, speak to the police get a restraining order. But now that you have a baby on the way, you have to think for them. Get out now, I've been there. Seek help, you will be ok.

Do you have the means to move away from where you are presently? If so, you should. Are you a Christian? Trust God to protect you no matter where you are, but also ask Him to help you find a better place if that's what you want.

Move ? Seriously, it may seem easier said than done, but if you really don't feel safe I would swallow my pride and go ANYWHERE to get away from that enviroment.
