I had last period on October 13th, 5 days early. It was an extremely short period only like 3 and a half days. It was also very light, but I didn't pay attention to what it looked like. Since Sunday October 22nd I have had persistent dull cramps in my lower abdomen. I have alot of nausea especially after eating anything. I can't stand certain smells especially meatty smells. I'm tired, but I work alot and I'm always tired. Could I be pregnant because it's too early to do a home pregnancy test and I can't stop thinking I am.

Are you thinking you may have gotten pregnant AFTER your period on the 13th? If so then, yes, it is too soon to take a pregnancy test. But if you are saying that you could have been pregnant and that is why your period is so light then you can 100% take a test right now and find out. All the symptoms you mention are pregnancy symptoms, but they can also be stress symptoms or virus symptoms. The lower abdomen cramps aren't a good sign. If they are persisent that falls in line of miscarriage symptoms, or your period could just be out of whack. I would really suggest seeing an OB/gyn as soon as possible to figure out what is going on. Good Luck

Hi there!!

It sounds like with your symptoms you might very well be pregnant. I would suggest that you make an appointment with your doctor ASAP and have them perform a blood test on you to determine if you are. The blood tests are 100% accurate and can be done a lot earlier than most home pregnancy tests. Good luck and a possible congratulations! Hope this helps!! :)

Are you saying that it is too early for a test because you have already taken one and gotten a negative result? I would buy a 2 test pack and take one in the morning. If it comes back negative and you continue with pregnancy symptoms then take another test in a week or two. In the mean time make an appointment with your doctor. See if they can get you in in the next few weeks.

You are just ovulating now if youre on a 28 day schedule. You could be pregnant from a previous month.. go get a blood test from a doctor

If you think you are pregnant, they can detect it by drawing blood at the doctor's office. I'd maybe do that if you really think you might be but haven't had a missed period yet.
