Spiders most definitely. I think it stems from when I was a kid. I had a large one dangling from my arm and I was traumatized. Still haven't got over it and I'm 25.
I used to be frightened of snakes as well but one day at the pet store I got my nerve up and asked if I could touch one. The girl pulled out a baby tangerine Honduran milk snake and I fell in love! I couldn't give that thing back and ended up putting a down payment on it after an hour of holding it. I even had a name picked out but Mom soon put a stop to that when she wouldn't let me near the house with it. I'd still like to have a snake one day but not sure if I could feed it.

Neither. I've worked with both, and find neither type of animal to be evil or menacing (in fact, most snakes, spiders, and scorpions that you see in Hollywood movies are quite safe in reality). Snakes usually don't want to mess with you. There's only one of two reasons why either would want to tangle with you: Either it feels threatened, or -- in the case of very large constrictors which are handled by very small people -- extreme hunger. Of all the species of snakes that I've handled or have been exposed to (perhaps two hundred or so such individuals), I can honestly say that I've only been bitten five times -- and each was my fault, for either startling the snake in question, or trying to do something within its cage too soon after having fed it. Like you or me, snakes are merely animals trying to make it through their day the best way they know how.
Spider bites nearly always occur out of defense. Those who wake up with spider bites weren't bitten because the spider simply likes to bite people: If spiders liked biting people, you'd be swatting them off as you read this -- like it or not, they share many of the same places with us. There could be one under your seat right now. The fact is that most (actually, nearly ALL) of the spiders you encounter from day to day pay you little notice at all unless provoked. Hey, you move around in your sleep -- which threatens the well-being of the spider that snuggled up to you seeking the warmth of your body; it's pretty easy to see how that would frighten them). Besides, look at it this way: If it weren't for spiders, you'd see tons more earwigs and flies.

I'm not scared of either one, but I don't really like spiders. I own a Ball Python, so snakes are part of my life. Spiders on the other hand, I will kill when I see.

Neither. I love spiders and snakes. What's to be scared of? I even have snakes as pets, and will be getting tarantulas when I have the space.

Neither scares me but I would have to say that spiders would come the closest. Never had a snake crawl in my boot but have had spiders.

I think both are cool BUT snakes would be on the list of animals that scare me. I couldn't kill a snake easily if it attacked. A spider I have a fight chance if it gets frisky!

I can't pick between the 2. Those are the 2 things I fear the most, that is on land anyway. Spiders can hide anywhere and snakes have quite the striking distance. Don't like either of them. YUK!!

spiders are creepy! Even though its a little insect, I know, i know, but they are much more scary to me than snakes. I had a boa once so snakes dont scare me, spiders do, pretty dumb but I cant help it

Seeing as how you can kill a spider with a rolled up newspaper while some snakes can eat you whole, I am more wary of snakes.
