I need to find a one of those high tech pet doors, maybe 12'' x 8''!
Do you know where to get one?! Help! Its to prevent my cat from going outdoors!

if you are talking about one of the doors that only let a pet thru it if they have the "remote" on their collar, then you can get it from petsmart. Other than that, i dont see how a pet door is going to keep the cat from going outside...

Cats need to go outdoors. U can get a cat run made up out the back.. We have one from the laundry window.. U will have to change the soil cos of the cat poo and wee. But its worth it. You can also buy a cat lead so u can train ur cat to go outside with u. Beleive me keeping em indoors will make em crazy.
Since I dont know ur set up and or ur situation, if u want a high tech cat door.. check out ebay

Cats kill songbirds... so whoever it was that said cats need to be outside... they're responsible for drastic declines in songbird populations, and all you have to do is follow the chain down from there. Cats need to be inside, if you can't keep it in, don't get one.
That said, why do you want a pet door to keep your cat inside? If you already have a pet door, just put something over it until you can replace your door. Otherwise... it seems like a frivolous investment.
