The absolute worst I'd say is a tie between Capricorn and Aquarius. They don't understand tenderness and are too into their own affairs to be part of the deep relationship a Cancer needs. I'm not fond of other Cancers usually, at least the really shy ones, they make me feel self-conscious and uncertain (the same with those really quiet Pisces). I never really had a problem with Arieses, but on the other side of the polarity I usually find Libras like to play games and are too shallow and self-absorbed, utterly snobbish. I usually get along with Geminis, they say they're fickle, but the ones I'm known I've had pretty good and long-lasting relationships with. The best is probably Scorpio, they're very loyal and you know where you stand with them. Leos can be warming and encouraging to a Cancer. But I've gotten along with all the signs to some extent (but not really Libras).

Technically all signs are. However, if you're into compatibility based on astrology I'd warn against dating Sags or Geminis (as a cancer).
