sneakers vs flip flops/sandals?

i usually wear sneakers n e way i think they look cuter. sometimes people(mom) get mad at me 4 wearing sneakers/ socks all the time. but its just my style. even though i do wear sandals sometimes. how about u, what do u wear usually????

During the summer it's sandals/flip flops and fall, spring and winter sneakers. I LOVE sneakers. They are the most comfortable shoe ever made. I LOVE sneakers so much that I wear them all the time. They make a dress shoe that resembles a sneaker. I wear those instead of pointy, high heeled or regular dress shoes. My mother HATES the fact that I wear sneakers almost all the time. sneakers look better than flip flops unless youre gonna be at the beach if you dress casual. I like sandals too or other open toe shoes but ones that dont 'flip flop' or make that type of noise when I walk. If i wear flip flops its only while im doing laundry around my home or need to walk to my backyard or wash my car or something like that, but not to go out anywhere, its kind of tacky

I live in Southern California, so I pretty much ONLY wear flip flops. I wear them to Disneyland, I biked 12 straight miles and walked all over San Francisco in them, and wear them 10-11 months out of the year. I throw on sneakers when I'm going to the gym, work, or out in the rain.

I usually wear sneakers, just 'cause it's rainy and wet down here, and sandals and flip flops just aren't that appropriate. But if I had a choice, I'd choose flip flops. So comfy!

Flip flops to me are only appropriate at the beach, by the pool, or inside your home. Flip flops in many public places just seem low brow, trailer trash or ghetto to me. Like house slippers in public, which I've seen in some Southern communities. Uncultivated.

A good pair of sandals, with a back strap so that the footwear does not flop, is appropriate in some beach or vacation communities. When going downtown, I wear socks with my sandals, not only for better hygiene but to reduce wear on the skin of my feet, added protection from the elements and glass, sharp objects, etc.

i usually wear sneakers i dont like my feet so i just wear sneakers but sometimes i do wear flip flops but only on the weekends

Well, in the summer I rock flip flops (all different colors)! While during the rest of the year its my New Balance sneakers or my Ugg Boots (so comfy)!

Whatever you prefer is what you should wear. I don't let other people dictact my comfort level. If you like to wear sneakers and socks, by all means, you should. You know what makes your feet feel good and what makes you comfortable. Alot of the answers you will receive here aren't really answers, they are only opinions, and only you can know what you like.

i ALWAYS wear sneakers/socks or (closed toed) flats. i dont like my feet showing, anyways socks are better for your feet. sometimes with flip flops, your feet get dirty from the fact that they are so exposed! and many ppl do not like to see feet. i never really understood why ppl wor flip flops so much.

you know what as long you arent wearing sneakers and socks with sundresses or slacks..(dressy clothes) you should be okay..and i hope you arent wearing sneakers that are old and wore down.. they should at least be cute, if this is the shoe of your choice you should have them in all different styles and colors, just make sure your shoes compliment your clothes. as for me... i wear all types of shoes, it depends on the weather and my outfit
