Why do people refuse to ask for help or for advice when there are people who've been through the exact same thing or are willing to assist them and help them?

I mean, there are people out there in the world every second going through the exact same thing but that person finds a different solution. If the person would just open their mouth instead of being stubborn they can save a life or do much more!

I'm one of those people that sometimes needs help but almost never ask and I guess it has to do with pride or shame, or embarrassment

Just plain stubborn My boss does this she states she is always right then gets in to trouble because she doesn't know the answer.

sometimes its hard to ask for help sometimes its hard to know who to trust and sometimes you just dont feel that anyone will really understand just be there for the person for when they are ready to talk good luck
