Is it the make up or the music?

It will always be about the music. Revenge was the best album KISS ever recorded because it was all about the attitude and the emotions. It had nothing to do with promoting the image that KISS was/is notorious for.
The makeup is just an added bonus.

Whether you are or are not the real Gene Simmons- Kiss is still an awesome band. The music is great. The make-up just adds to the theatrical performance. I still remember the day kiss came out on MTV without the make-up. I was 10 an so amazed by them. I also remember the movie "Kiss meets the phantom of the park". Yes, I am a true product of the 80's.

how are we suppose to know if you're the real gene simmons... (i stopped believing real celebrities actually come out and say they are who they are on here after we had some poser Billie Joe Armstrong and Tre' Cool on here.
I don't really like kiss. i think the make up is a little too much and the music well not really my type of music.... and just the make up why does any one need to look like that while performing????

I'm most happy that they are gone because they sucked. Bubblegum 'rock n roll' for nerds what a joke they were.
