The situation in england and in particular London is worsening on a daily basis. For a single bedsit room with a dirty floor and substandard facilities you have to pay almost half of your income for rent. adding the horrendus (and bad) transport costs, noone I know is able to save money. Yet people are allowed to rent out homes in conditions that are worse than in Somalia and they make 500% profit on it while no one takes action. When does the gouverment start to regulate income from rent and get rid of criminal Landlords who shamelessly exploit the citizens of London?

I know that in places like Zambia the conditions are worse and that people are treated even worse than in England.
But think of that: Every house in London has been paid for more than 1000% than the actual building costs. I just wonder where this money goes. Barclays Bank? They are the ones buying guns for your gouverment!

You've got it wrong!

London is expensive, one of the most expensive cities in the world, but also one of the richest cities in the world.

If you can't afford to live there move!

BTW the government is not exploiting it's people, the government have put systems into place over the last nine years to help people to be able to afford homes, such as key worker properties, rent to buy, national minimum wage, etc.

They've also increased educational standards, perhaps you'd like to visit a Learn Direct centre to help you with your spelling and inability to calculate correctly.

It takes you as a citizen to come together with fellow rent payers and make a serious demonstration demanding for better housing.
I live in Zambia, Africa and the houses here arec worse than what yoiu describe, espoecially in the capital city. SHACKS are all over the place and yet the government just watches. demos have waken the government up a bit. May be there, in a developed country that would make a much bigger difference.

The government has been setup by exploiters to do just that, take
away your power in anyway to resist there evil plans.
Federal Reserve System is a phony banking system setup for the benefit of Rothschilds, Rockefeller.Morgans, King and Queens to steal the wealth of America. Along with the phony income tax that was never passed and ratified by the states.
The "Patriot Act" and the "Military Combatants Law" have been setup to be used againist the American people becuase they are
waking up to what has happened to them over the last 100 years
by the families that control the money in the world.

I agree, England is bad and the politicians just want to fleece us further. Most people in England are in credit card debt to the tune of thousands of pounds. I once added my bills for the month including local taxes and transport to and from work and I found as with most people, if the truth be looked at, I was always about a hundred pounds in deficit and I asked myself why this is allowed to continue. When the credit finally dries up and people are made to see the light, maybe they will do something about the politicians. As they did in France. No less than they deserve.

The situation in England and in many countries such as USA is worsening all the time. Prices are going up, public amenities and comforts are giong down. I might suggest moving to some other country in the European Union, such as Spain where things tend to be cheaper, there's more customer service.
