Why does a tiger have stripes? So he won't be spotted.
Tigers can't run fast for very long distances. When looking for prey, they must stalk it quietly while creeping up quite close before leaping for the attack. They try to remain as inconspicuous as possible during the hunt, aided by camouflaging stripes. A tiger's stripes work well in grassy undergrowth or shady forests to break up the broad shape of their body, helping to hide them from their prey. While these beautiful markings appear highly visible to human eyes, this is because we usually see them in an open environment where their camouflage quality is not as apparent.
There are five species of tigers: the Amur (formerly known as the Siberian), South China, Indochinese, Bengal and Sumatran. The Sumatran has the darkest coat and most stripes of all the tigers, while the Amur has the fewest stripes. Tiger stripes are a useful tool in identifying individual animals. They are like human fingerprints; no two tigers have the same pattern of stripes.

The stripes are just the way it is designed to be.....but the colours, the black, and amber...are so to show danger to other animals, because the colours stand out so much, they show danger to the other animals, even though a tiger is dangerous, anyway.... the same with a bee or wasp do you notice how the colours are similar to that of a tiger.....the colours serve one purpose only.

A camouflage afforded by nature, the instinct of self preservation evolved over a period of time.
It seems the cellular level intelligence of algae somewhere near a 'industrial-waste-polluted- water' (lake or river at Russia)reproduced itself and evolved into a capability to release antibodies which can resist filtration, and high temperatures, rendering the water unfit for human condition, and the virus more lethal than HIV ! A newspaper report gave a caption & report to mean 'Humans, take care not to pollute water, or else, the most beneficial & highest 'life-preserving-oxygen- producing' algae can turn to be the biggest killer ' ! The cellular intelligence of algae never intended to kill us , but just took care of itself.
The stripes of tiger are similar self-modification it acquires over generations of its own species reproduced to use camoflage to hunt effectively for its food ! White tigers for the white looking terrain and so on !

To compensate for their rough and powerful looking body. Stripes make tigers look elegant, dignified, sophisticated and even aristocratic.
There's a reason tigers are the symbol of pride: they're strong and beautiful.

It's a simple camoflage -- break up the outline. Remember, most animals lack color vision and the detail of human vision.
