Saxon - oh yeah, Biff Byford and crew. I think they're still around.
Helix - Brian Vollmer and company from Canada. Didn't they just put out an anniversary DVD?
Loudness - Japanese hard rock. I think I have their album "The Birthday Eye" around here somewhere.
Rough Cutt - should be familiar with them, but I'm not.
Aldo Nova - Canadian hard rock guitarist, never really made it big past his debut album.
Y&T - California-based hard rock, I remember "Summertime Blues"
Heavy Pettin' - stumped me on this one.
Girlschool - The feminine answer to Motorhead, actually were strongly backed by Lemmy and company.

I remember Helix, Loudness, Aldo Nova, Y & T, and Girlschool. I still love "Fantasy" from Aldo Nova. Yes I must also admit to the acid washed jeans, big hair etc. I still must confess to the big hair and still being a big "80's hair band" fan.

Aldo Nova, yes vaguely, a real flash-in-the-pan, never-would-have-been-without- MTV group. Same with Girlschool ISTR.
