Me and my roommates were watching a Godzilla film and came upon the inevitable question does Godzilla have a penis or a pair of hemipenes. It is stemmed from the question that since Godzilla was mutated from a T-Rex would he be more closely related to a crocodile (that has a penis) or a lizard (that has hemipenes). All responses welcome!

this is actually a good question. godzilla is actually neither. it is more on the side of a a-sexual animal. meaning that they make replicas of themselves. as we know in cells, cells split to make 2 cells and so on. similar thing takes place. inside the godzilla, (in the eggs), the same DNA from the gozilla is copied and an egg is laid, thus there are no male or female. well, i guess you could say it is female, since it lays eggs, but there are no male godzillas.

I truly have no idea but I can say for sure that you'll never see what he has in movies or on TV since the censors are too prudish to let genitals of any type show; especially ones as big as Godzilla might have. After all, that would give the censors a real case of penis envy now wouldn't it - hehe.

No. Godzilla is actually a female. The "a" at the end of the name 'Godzilla' is feminine. Therefore, Godzilla has a vagina. I hit that last night. I couldn't really feel anything though, it's like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

I think you'll find that Godzilla was hermaphroditic i e., reproduced fertile clones of itself (all females) like many reptile species do today. Can't remember what part of the movie the 'Worm Guy' comes to this conclusion. I should get out more too!?

He was not mutated from a T-Rex.
Godzilla is an intermediate between sea dwelling creatures and land dwelling creatures.
who stayed in a specific niche feeding off of sea life until he was irradiated by the H-bomb tests off the Bikini Atoll.

so i would say he is more crocodile than lizard.

No more than the Jurassic Park dinosaurs have anuses.

Serriously, crocodilians carry their sexual organs within a pouch just under, and inside, of the vent. They don't have a traditional penis in the outer-organ sense.
