Do you think that the father of the baby had some agenda behind this pulling back? Like maybe he realises how much money he could make by suing this megastar?

doubtful, they don't have the funds to sue. The govt is trying to sue and some childrens rights groups.

I don't know about the suing part but an investigation was opened up. The father is illiterate and was not informed that the baby was being "adopted". He assumed, along with the other tribal witnesses present, that Madonna was taking the baby to be educated and nursed to good health so that he could come back to his tribe and help others. The father says although he had sent the boy to live in the orphanage, the child is still a part of the tribe and that he had no intentions what so ever of giving his son away permanently.

The mother of the child diedand that is why the father had the child in the orphanage, because he could not care for him and work at the same time.

This information was in either monday's or tuesday's news.

My understanding is that Madonna had only a verbal agreement with the father of the child. Apparently the mother has no longer any rights to the child either by death or by forfeiture. The father then pulled back on his verbal committment. Modanna's attorneys should have handled this for her and if they did, then they are hacks.

not true the father is now requesting the child was never meant to be given when madonna appeared on oprah she said the boy had pneumonia, had malaria, and that the child was in the orphanage since early birth and the mother is presumed dead from aids and that no family claimed child whole time. cheers!

You shouldn't always believe what you read. The baby's mother is dead, the dad gave his permission. Madonna was on Oprah yesterday to clear up all the rumors.

David's mother is dead. His father could not afford to keep him. The news, press, has it wrong about the father wanting the boy back. He is happy for his child.
