What your about to witness is a lame duck president get a beat down. He won't be able to veto every single bill the Dems put on his desk without commiting political suicide for the publickends in the next election. His partisan colleagues will have to over-ride his veto's on many issues for the same reason. Whatever happens you'll see more usefull legislation on the floor than the current congress.
THE EARTH WILL STILL REVOLVE WITH THE DEMS IN CONTROL.
A Bush conviction will be an extra added bonus!!

Yes, I do, one party rule has been bad for the country. We have been attacked, we are at war, tax cuts for the very rich, military act, patriot act all bad legislation out of a out of control congress. A democratic majority will provide the checks and balance for the government to function correctly. The best legislation comes out of compromise, it has always been the case, both sides need to be heard and then decide what solution to follow. It is not happening now. I know this won't be best answer but it is the truth. Grid lock only happens when one side refuses to negotiate.

I doubt it. McCain is named a Maverick by technique of the Republicans and he almost grew to change right into a democrat. he's amazingly genuine looking except on the warfare. Clinton worked nicely with the republicans even as they were given the final public in 1994 and they were given some good things achieved. fortunately that befell once they surpassed the regulation to stability the funds. Too undesirable Bush trashed maximum of it.

just signed up for this Yahoo! answers... obviously, like those who run Yahoo!, there are approximately 99.999% snivelling little brainwashed commie liberals subscribed to this service.

Yes, they want gridlock.

That piece of crap Pelosi said so. God save the Republic (it's not a direct democracy as the marxist leninist stalinist Democrats would like, or would like you to believe...)

If the Republicans lose control of Congress, it will not be because the People don't agree with what they set out to do, it will be because they did not do what they promised; ie: secure our borders, lower taxes, restore religious freedom; and get the freakin' government OFF OUR BACKS.

this kind of thinking by the Neo-cons is typical. They believe they are right in the face of anything. That 60% of Americans should be ignored because they are "wrong"
