Does any one have the installation code for the original sims game??

I lost my cd case for the game i have all of the ones for expansion packs but the codes on them do not work. i cannot get the game to play without this code and i cannot seem to find it anywhere. if any one has it and can give it to me that would be great! thanks

The serial numbers that are given to each copy of the game aren't supposed to be shared with other players. Each copy of 'The Sims' game has a different serial number. If someone else gave you theirs it wouldn't work. The only serial number that is supposed to be used on your 'The Sims' game is the one that's on the case for YOUR game.

If you've lost or misplaced your serial number you can go to http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=7805&p_created=1094762905 to request a replacement.

Lost or Missing Serial Replacement:
If you meet one of the following criteria, you can send a request along with a nominal fee to Electronic Arts for a replacement serial number.

* The product is 90 days past the purchase date
* The original serial number has been discarded or lost

When sending a request for a replacement serial number, please include the following:

A money order for $10.00 USD (per serial number requested) made payable to Electronic Arts.

The proof of purchase page from your manual (If you no longer have the manual, include one of the game disks as verification of ownership.

You should probably change your question to mention you don't want to register the game or use the Sims exchange. Those 2 things will have EA crack down on those who give away codes.

Maybe you should search a CD crack site if you have no luck. But beware! some are loaded with viruses! To prevent yourself from losing the code, do what I do, and put the serial number on your game disk with a Sharpie or something.

i have the Sims 2 codes if u want those ... i gave my Sims 1 codes away =[. I have the Sims2 (original) ,nightlife,family fun stuff, open for business, university, and about to get the glamour life and the pet one this weekend ...

What if I said I had "lost" my bank account, can someone give me theirs? I think not
