He's a bit of a floter BUT being on Dallas is the perfect situation for him. He'll be out of the hockey spotlight (thank you, Dallas Cowboys) and he can relax and play his game given Modano and Lindros will be the focus there on the Stars.

If you haven't realized, most habs players that get traded, end up doing better with there new team. Patrick Roy with the Avalanche, John Leclair with philadelphia, Mark Recchi with the hurricaines, etc. Mike Ribiero is another to the list.

hes a great young player that can really play the game well, his poor performance last year didn't help hI'm Montreal needed some change and with his bad year he was one to go. but im glad he got his game back, i do miss him.

TOM A>>>>> remember asshole Kyle McLaren with his close line on Zednik a few years ago in the playoffs, ******* Bruins took are best player at the time and hurt are playoff chances just like last years high stick on Koivu. don't worry the Habs are getting their it wont be long till you see the Cup back in Montreal..

Deavious9...>>>>Mark Recchi at the time with the Habs was a great player he had 322 points in 346 games, and he only played one season with the Canes and his record with the Carolina Hurricanes NHL 20gp, 4g, 3a, 7pts. Patrick Roy best years was with the Canadiens not the Avs, and for Leclair he needed a player to play with; like Lindros. if Leclair went to anyother team he wouldnt have had all those goals.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Mike Ribeiro is garbage. What he did several years ago in a playoff series against Boston should never be forgotten. I'll put the link here and in the "source" entry so everyone can see what a gutless piece of crap this punk is.

In other words, a perfect fit in Dallas.

He's one of my fav. Habs players. I thought he's one of the future of the team however the team moved on and it worked well for your team and mine. good luck to your team.
