The Monte Carlo pool is not open this time of the year, some pools in Las Vegas are heated their's isn't one of them...It is a nice pool though, huge area(over 20,000sq ft) made up of several pools - a wave pool - swimming pool - 400ft lazy river - etc -.
Monte Carlo is a pretty nice hotel, you might want to compare it to MGM and Luxor they're all pretty much in the same area(Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd)..

The Monte Carlo is a very nice hotel and the price is good too. Plus its convenient for walking to the other hotel/casinos. The casino is good,,not as large as some of the other hotels, but it has all of the table games and a good variety of slots. The hotel has a couple restaurants and a food court. Its show room features a magiician.
I like the pool area because it has a wave pool and a lazy river. But they are not open in winter.

i have stayed at the monte carlo.the rooms are very nice with marble in the bathrooms.the pool is great.

go to cheapovegas.com. their casino reviews are pretty accurate.
