When I was a child my grandfather died. I remember him "watching" over me after his death and I used to tell my mother and grandma that grandpa would tell me stories and talk to me and they would just dismiss it as my imagining things. But I really do remember him, I couldn't hug him or touch him, but he would be there, telling me bedtime stories and telling me he would always make sure I was safe. And to this day, almost 25 years later, I still feel his presence around me.

Several! The elementary school I went to had a haunted bathroom mirror...if you put your ear to it, you could hear what sounded like something scratching and pounding, as if trying to get out. There was no other place in the bathroom that you could hear these noises. It also just has an overall creepy feel to it and at times would be cold as ice even though you could feel heat coming off the radiator. Then I worked at a haunted hotel. The ghost there enjoyed hiding things, making noises and showing itself as a blue streak of light. She was also fond of locking doors. Once a coworker and I heard her speak.

We lived in a haunted apartment building. We never saw the ghost, just heard it walking around in the "attic". When I asked a neighbor about it she told me that a man had died in a fire in the apartment under mine. After the apartment was repaired he would appear there from time to time doing the dishes or some other task and he would walk around upstairs.
