Dear God! If your rabbit is having repsiratory distress look up an Emergency Vet in your phone book immediately and go there with your bunny. Dump the vet who can't help until morning! What good would that do if the rabbit is dead by then!

Then find a new vet... If your vet will not take an emergency like an animal not breathing, find a new one... call around and find one that will take it. You might see if you can find a farm vet that will see a rabbit.. good luck, and hope the best for your bunny

i no its not nice watching an animal suffer but if youve checked that theres nothing lodged in its throat then all you can do is go to bed and take it to the vet in the morning ( if you cant pay for the out of hours vet.) vets dont give a sh1t about any animal at this time of night, its sick but true ( past experiences)

In most places, there are numerous listings under veterinarians, in the yellow pages of your phone book. Start letting your fingers do the walking until you find one. Don't you have any animal emergency rooms in your area? Geez, we are in the northeast part of Pennsylvania, not the most metropolitan area, and we have one. Your rabbit needs help now.

I had this same thing happen to me once and the rabbit died due to me ignorance. DO NOT TRY TO FORCE IT TO DRINK. Otherwise try to keep it calm (a rabbit can stress itself to death). Keep a close eye and remove any excess fluid she/he seems to have with an eye dropper.

Do you have a 24-hour veterinary emergency hospital in your area? If so, go there. I lost a dog because ther wasn't any emergency hospital in my area.
