I want to start carrying purses now instead of having everything in my pockets or jacksets. I don't know what to put inside a purse. Ladies, What's in your Purse?

Okay I never started carrying purses till about sophmore year lol... I just hate carrying purses and i always lose them cuz i never carried a purse and i forget its there! So umm ur prolly gonna leave or forget ur purse somewhere especially for a first timer! Try not to sit it down places like under ur desk keep it in your eye view or on your shoulder always to be safe. Dont let anyone go in it either. And when you let someone use somthing out of it stay with them till they give it back dont like walk off or somthing. Hehe! But here is your purse checklist!
Lipsgloss! omGOSH go no where w/o that stuff..!
Cell fizzone(required)
Secured Compact mirror so it wont break.
Small tissues (achoo)
Small change
couple of dollars....(not required)
Wallet
1 pen
1 Pencil
Gum/Mints
1 extra hair accesory (something to pull ur hair back)
and umm thats pretty much what i put in my purse when i carry it... lol.......

If you have a big enough bag then these are some of the essentials:... Lip-Gloss Hand-Sanitizer Mints Wallet Cash - Separate coin purse too Eye Liner/Mascara A tampon or two Panty Liners (if necessary) A little packet of Kleenexes Cell Phone Gum A pen - Never know when you'll need it Perfume Compact -w- Mirror Panadol Lip Balm If you are wearing nail polish then have the bottle in your bag in case you chip And maybe a small deodorant Sorry I don't have any links for purses.

The bigger the purse, the more stuff you'll find to put in it!
When I carry a small purse, I include in it: my wallet, lipstick, and cell phone, just the necessities.
When I carry a big purse, I include in it: my wallet, lipstick, cell phone, camera, checkbook, gloves (in the winter), sunglasses and ipod. This gets heavy - and most of the stuff I don't need to be carrying around in the first place - I recommend a smaller bag w/necessities.

I always carry a medium or big purse because I carry my wallet with money and Id's. A small makeup/nail kit, gum, a pen, my cellphone, and a small brush and eye brow shaper to fix my eye brows on the go. A purse doesn't have to be expensive to be fun, I have hand made purses and a designer one, I liked them and I just bought them. Look for one that's fun and comfortable to use. I recommend you to carry a pepper spray, you never know...

Wallet w/id cc, check book; half a dozen pens, female products, cosmetics of all sorts, about 20 lipsticks, tissues, sugar tabs for hypoglycemia, cell phone, car/house keys, calendar, mcdonalds monopoly cards, miscellaneous paperwork, old mail, some cat food...well, it's a big purse!
Just put in there what you'd normally stuff into your pockets!

Good question! I'm curious to see what everyone else says. Okay, hold on, I'm grabbying my giamonsterous purse and am going to list the contents (keep in mind, I'm 33 and a mother of a 14 month old)
Contents are as follows:
Front zipper pocket- One tube of clear lip gloss and one red pen
Front inside pocket- One tube of Head On
Front zipper pocket inside front inside pocket- 4 "Regular" tampons and one "Super" tampon
Middle inside pocket- my wallet with ZERO dollars in it. LOL! A karaoke CD (??) my checkbook, 4 ink pens, 1 travel size bottle of Purell Hand Sanitizer, 1 colored lip gloss (Avon's "Mango Sorbet") 2 sticks of gum, an empty bottle of Tic Tacs (??) and one Advil Liqui-Gel capsule. Oh, and apprarently one of my pens fell apart and there's a spring from one laying loose. Go figure.
Zipper pocket inside the inside pocket- A sample bottle of Nexium, ANOTHER tube of Head On, ANOTHER Avon Lip Gloss (this time "Pink Lemonade") 2 Advil Cold and Sinus Liqui-Gel Capsules and HEY! My fingernail clippers!!!! I've been looking for those!
Back Inside Pocket- (hold on. I have to remove everything from the middle pocket again because it's bulging over into the back pocket and I can't get in it) okay, 1 post-it reading "Julie's Cell", an old reciept for a Sonic Cream Pie Smoothie, Glitter lip gloss, a lighter (even though I don't smoke)
Pockets inside the back inside pocket- my business cards
Back outside zipper pocket- ANOTHER lip gloss. LOL!!!! Mally Beauty pink "Girl on the Go" gloss (AWESOME STUFF!) 1 Mary Kay lipstick in "Redwood", a binky/pacifier, 1 red pen, a Shout portable wipe, a Monopoly game board from McDonalds
Outside side snap pocket- My cell phone
And to think I was considering getting a larger purse!!!!!

First you have to be carrying a fun bag. I recommend anything COACH, Kate Spade, Dooney and Bourke, or CHANEL. I have a purse from each designer and in them I carry my wallet filled my driver's license, credit cards, checkbook, and cash. Also my RAZOR cellphone, chapstick, gum, and lotion from Bath and Body Works. Hope that helps, and have fun with your purse!

Wallett, cell phone, 7 lip glosses, hand cream, water bottle, glasses case n sunglasses, gum/candies, pen small sticky papers, NAIL FILE!, extra couple of hair elastics and a claw clip and some bobby pins, a small comb, change wallett, LIGHTER(although i dont smoke, but you never know when you might be stranded in the middle of no where and need to make a fire!!!-honestly!)

Well, I'm 24 and in my purse you will find: Pads/Tampons, Deoderant, Body Spray, Smokes, Lighter, House Key, Truck Keys, Wallet, Money, Debit/Credit Cards, ID, Paper Napkins, Tweezers, Gum, Toothbrush & Paste, Dental Wax (I Have Braces on My Teeth) and anything else I think I might need for the day.
