Most of the petite sections assume that since I'm the height of a child, I also have the body of one!!!
I'm 4'8, 36DDD, size 16/14 in normal pants. I have an "hourglass" figure.
Does anyone know of any stores that may have clothes that will fit me???
Any imput is appreciated. Most shirts I find are too tight & too long. Most pants are about a foot too long & if I hem them, it looks weird.
Just so ya'll know, I'm 22. I like to dress cute still.

I'm not quite that short though.
My advice...
Learn how to sew your own clothes.
Or wear dresses/skirts alot.
I'm assuming your not of color, but try asking some chicks that are where they shop. Alot of us stuggle with that problem.

I'm 4'8" too! I wear a size 8 pants, 30DD bra, and I'm plump. That's not hourglass figure you've got there. That's about a yearglass, if anything. I like how the girl who answered first said she has a friend around your height "only slimmer". That isn't hard because YOU, MY SISTER SHORTY, ARE FAT! Stick to classic styles with clean lines. Also, just about anything we wear looks a little stange on us. Clothes just aren't designed with women our height in mind. Try to stay away from anything that would hug your body. Thanksgiving is almost here and you don't want anyone mistaking you for a ButterBall.

i individually like clothing with an empire waists. while your short it is far much less complicated to locate skinny denims i desire i could desire to help greater yet i'm 5'8. by the way long dishevelled clothing make you look shorter. in case you want to be dressy positioned on a style setting up suitable a knee or little above knee lenght pencil skirt and heels and positioned your hair in a up do a bun ar pony tail will do it provides some height.

Ok I have a friend who is somewhat like you, only slimmer.
Dont wear pants, wear skirts only. Buy the shortest miniskirts you can find. You can still wear 'normal' tops.
