She was a very brave and inspirational woman. So was her teacher, Anne Sullivan, who helped her discover the world in a whole new way. And her writings possessed great depth. Her religious writings about the Emanuel Swedenborg introduced many new people to that Swedish mystic's works. She was, in some ways ahead of her time, and during her years as a member of the Socialist Party, believed in causes that were not always popular.

She was an amazing woman who overcame many obstacles, and could serve as an example to all of us.

she was incredibly motivated, and must have had a lot of patience. Also, i think that she is very intelligent to be able to learn so much being deaf and blind.
