I know I don't understand either. If you're intelligent enough to get on to yahoo answers to post a question, why can't you just do a simple search. Also why do people insist on asking the same questions over and over and over again. A few times I had a question about something, but I checked the Yahoo answers previuos questions and I found more than enough answers to my questions without posing the same one again......

I reckon there are two reasons.
1. They are lazy. Bone idle lazy.
2. They want some attention or company. Getting a response to a question from a person on yahoo answers is more like talking to someone, and I think they need that contact. I mean really, where are their parents and why aren't they helping their own kids do their homework? I sit with my children and help them if they need it, they know they can always ask me if they get stuck. I won't just give them the answer, I will help them research information in books or the net. When it comes to maths I'm not so hot so we bought the Mathematics ComputerTuter program and that is very useful.

I understand your frustration, because there are so many questions posted where the obvious intent is not to get help on homework but to get someone else to do all the tedious stuff. On the other hand, though, there are always a few questions where the asker clearly just wants a nudge in the right direction. My policy is: "Answer the latter and ignore the former, unless you really want to make fun of them."

Oh well, sometimes it's hard to find the kind of answer dat u want. Getting the answer frm ppl who've already, say made a science project, the kind dat u want, is useful.
Why are u so pissed off, anyway?

To me, this is subjective.
In total honesty, I agree, but this isn't the kind of question that has an answer.
If you want, begin a program to help inspire the 'useless' of today's youth to become 'useful' and productive in society. Starting, of course, with thinking.

I agree with you. That's why I usually give the wrong answer to their questions. I don't always give the wrong answer, so all you lazy students out there will never really know if I'm giving you the right or wrong answer. Muhahahahahahahaha.

it makes sense.
they need homework help = they are dumb
they don't check yahoo or google = they are dumb
if they were smart enough to check for real homework help, chances are they wouldn't need any in the first place.
