i've always loved superman, the comics and the cartoons. Who think Brandon Routh is HOT?

After watching the most recent Superman movie, I've come to the conclusion that Superman is Jesus. Too many coincidences for me. And how can you not think Jesus is awesome? I defy you! ;-)

No, the superman film was killed by two things:
there was just too much money thrown at it; you've got to say it,
the end product just didn't warrant that kind of cash. it should've been spent on world peace or something
the comics and cartoons are great, but the film just didn't have a leg to stand on from the get go because the script was just too machstick. you expect everything, & the story line just wants to commit suicide
i'm not especially enamoured of Superman, i don't even feel anything for/about the female character. Here's an idea: what if superman had been older (uncle hunk, not just-older-than-teen hunk... & i'd love it if lois was just a bit less conventionally pretty & more brainy & had a life of her own...)
anyway, as you can tell i was quite upset by the poor quality of the latest installment. but i love the comics & the cartoons: i think they're great!

Isn't 'awesome' supposed to describe touching the hand of God, or something that is so beyond our understanding it is unexplainable?
Superman is a cartoon character. He can hardly be given the accolade 'awesome'.
I agree with you though, Brandon Routh could be my hot water bottle anytime!

Brandon Routh only got that role because he bears a physical resemblance to Christopher Reeve. The new movie is a flop and a waste of money & time.

Did you see the documentary not so long ago about the curse of Superman? All the bad things that have happened to people connected with the Superman stories. They claimed the original writers never got any credits (financial or otherwise) from their creation & cursed the movie & tv programme. It's worth seeing.

Nah, sucks compared to the original Batman and Robin, especially when Batman is climbing up buildings and bumps into those celebs.
