The most primitive aspect of American society is its lack of freedom.
Franklin Roosevelt addressed congress and stated the four freedoms of man. Freedoms of speech and religion yes but also freedom from fear and freedom from want. The freedom from want must include social programs that work.
When you have income distribution that doesn't fulfill the United Nations "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" you are primitive. If you read this document that the United States triumphed in passing at the UN in 1948 you see that current American right wing thought is contrary to the ideals of the post-war era.
38 million citizens without medical care, 150 million with weak insufficient medical coverage, people living under bridges in the southwest, young 20 something, blissfully ignorant West Virginian males looking forward to Squirrel hunting season to "put meat on the table" and American Somoans subsisting on nothing are living examples of Americas failure to advance to a more evolved level. So the most primitive aspect of American society is Social Injustice.
Clearly there is enough wealth to solve the primitive conditions of ALL its citizens. I think that the amount of treasure spent in Iraq would have sufficed and yet America chose not to solve the problem of lack of freedom from want nor the problem of freedom from the fear of getting seriously ill. Very primitive indeed.

the exact opposite of Harry (three up) that there are people that expect things to be given to them because they havent made it them selves. Darwinism and survival of the fitist is the basic form of evolution thoughout nature. Organisms adapt and evolve to fit. If you dont, your are eaten or left for dead until the next generation takes over.

Independence.... still the sense of security has not ripened.... and all other priorities have been victimised over decades. It is the consequence that has caused the imbalance impeding real prosperity despite tremendous wealth and material self-sufficiency !
