The only person I've ever gotten a gift from on my wedding anniversary is my husband. The only time I've ever given an anniversary present is to my in-law's, when they hit their 50th anniversary, all the kids chipped in and got them a trip. So I wouldn't think a gift from you is even expected by them, I'm sure all they want is the pleasure of your company. If they are expecting a gift, they need to have their priorities adjusted too, in my opinion. I definitely wouldn't get them something if you have no money to do so with. If you do feel compelled to give them something, if you took pictures at their wedding--candid shots--maybe take a 4X6 one of those and frame it, or something else that's more sentimental in nature, and not expensive. Seriously, I sure wouldn't sweat it. They're probably not expecting anything from anyone.

I like yellow roses...they're pretty and they don't symbolize romantic love or anything...otherwise a bright mixed bouquet of just about anything would be appreciated by your friend.
