I noticed that everytime I have seen a child with a clef lip that the child is always mexicain or spanish....... why is that?

i do not think it is all genetic,,but maybe lack of nutriution long before baby was concived.maybe fom both parents ..and not proper care for prenatal..it could also be drugs..unsafe water..only the person that gave birth to this child knowes what they did and and did not do for the healthyness of this babe..and yes ..some is totally generic..there is alot of it overseas..not just with hispanics...

Apparently certain groups of American Indians are more prone to it, and many Mexicans certainly are decendents of American Indians.

if you're that worried, donate some money to them

or buy the chiclets when you go over to get wasted in mexico

It may be something genetic or they can't afford proper prenatal care, or an environmental factor
