Yes. Because I kept a list of books I've read starting from first grade, at age 6. By the time I was in my teens, I had read over 500. I'm now in my early forties and I still read.

Have read well over 1000 books in my lifetime -I'm over 50 years old, so that would be less than 20 books a year & I'm sure I've read at least 30 books a year for each of the last 40 years.

No but I really wish I have. Good books at least. All the forced reading at school really puts a damper ontrying to read for fun. I love to read.

I would think so. I'm 57 and have been reading since I was 4. And I always have a book to read handy.

I estimate that I've read over 17,000 in my life. Read Diary of Anne Frank when i was in kindergarten. Favorite author? Nevil Shute. Favorite book? It'd take pages...
