integral from -3 to 3 of 4x -x^3 dx
= 4x^2 /2 -x^4 /4 evalutated from -3 to 3
=2(3)^2 - (3)^4/4
=0

This is an odd function, integrated on an interval of the form [-a,a], so the integral is zero.
