im 18 years old, and though i wasnt deliberatly tryin to get pregnant, i think i may be. my period was about 7 days late, and now its here yet im not having any cramps , its just a little pressure in my abdomen. the color of the blood is light brown with a little bit of red spots here and there. This isnt normal for me could i be pregnant? when should i take a test?

You absolutely could be. Some women never miss a period when they are pregnant. Others it just changes slightly. I took my test when I was 8 days late and showed up positive. I would difinately take a test and then go from there. If the test shows up positive or inconclusive then see your doctor. If it shows up negative, you could always call your doctors office and speak to the nurse on duty and ask her/his advice. Good luck.

That does not sound like a period to me. It sounds like what is called "implantaion" bleeding, which means when people get pregnant, they sometimes spot brownish type blood. You should take a test ASAP, because it sounds to me like you have many of the symptoms.

Our doctor said that the only way to know for sure is when you hear the baby's heartbeat. However, until they, you go with signs, such as a PG test and a pelvic exam.
Oh, and in our case, the cat knew before we did. Honestly.

I don't think so you may be having a early miscarriage. Take a test if you wish uif bleeding & cramping last longer than usual period or pain gets unbearable see you doc fast

If you're having your period now, its not probable that you could be pregnant. If you're bleeding, then that means that the eggs are not fertilized.
Still, get a test just in case.

well i think you should talk to your doctor and if you dont have a doctor go to the nearest health department me i took my test when i was 5 weeks pregnant and it came up positive but they were not going to give it to me because they said it was too early but it showed up good luck

gurl if your peroid is on no matter what color it is you can't be preganant. My blood is brown also my blood has only been red twice. And i have had my peroid for 3 years
