None. It is true that Saddam used WMD on his own people in 1988. But does that justify the USA invading his country? I think not. After all, the USA has the death penalty.
P.S. - In response to J Barley Corn, the UN did not have truthful information from which to 'legalize' the invasion. Also things don't have to be 'legal' to make them right or wrong. And what do you think the justification was? The fact that Saddam tried to kill Bush Sr.?

Actually, we were never given the right ot invade Iraq which is why this war is so controversial. For those of you who never in depth studied American History I suggest you start now by opening your 8th grade, or 11th grade text book and look under Vietnam War.
You will see many similarities in that war and with the current one.
The main similarities being no approval from congress OR the UN.

Question 1 - U.N. approval
Question 2 - Yes
As far as justification - Saddam Hussein on a number of occasions disobeyed U.N. resolutions after the 1991 Gulf War (such as operating aircraft and targeting coalition aircraft in the established no-fly zones, and delaying and obstructing weapons inspections teams). Regardless of 9/11 or the present lack of WMD's, I believe we had justification in removing Saddam Hussein from power.

S. provided to their people. I heavily doubt that there will be any 'smoking gun' in those memos. What i can't make certain is why some people assume that the clarification information is secure from public disclosure can in trouble-free words be by using a pair type of conspiracy?

After 9/11 happened, Bush sent troops to seek Osama bin Laden.
What does Iraq have to do with Osama?
I don't know.
Why are we suddenly trying to "liberate" Iraq when, we have problems ourselves?
I don't know.
