An antihistamine like Benadryl can help, as can applying ice packs to the stung area. Additionally, you might try a paste of meat tenderizer (you can buy this in the spice section of the supermarket) and water instead of baking soda and water. There is an enzyme in the meat tenderizer that breaks down the venom of the sting. If it's quite painful, taking a couple of Tylenol will also help. Good luck and take care of that foot!
