at two separate places: the wings most possibly at a Halloween store, a black spray can you can find at any hardware store. what's wrong with a little DIY?

Try Hot Topic or Spencers at the mall. I know they have black fairy wings but I don't know if they have the feathered angel wings.
You may be hardpressed to find any this late in the game. But I found some online at www.anniescostumes.com as well as other places by doing a search for them. However you wouldn't get them before Halloween of this year.

Our local Walmart is carrying black wings and other black and/or gothic stuff

Go to Party City or Spirit. If they dont have black maybe you could dye them or spray paint them.
