The U.S does not disarm people, the liberals try to disarm people (the law abiding citizens).

No, as a matter of fact, at the start of the war, we were in charge of safeguarding large stores of weapons and explosives we discovered stored in warehouses and bunkers. Somehow, all this weaponry disappeared into the hands of Iraqis. It appeared that we deliberately gave them this stuff. Now it appears that everyone in Iraq needs weapons to defend themselves from each other and, unfortunately the US soldiers. What a sad story Bush has written for everyone.

US has technically disarmed the Iraqis under their control but failed to get those belonging to the insurgents that are killing the Americans and the Iraqis that they support.
