How can the common thread be used to interpret the paintings of Icarus? How does Lot's wife fit in with the theme?

Main similarities:
-both couples (Deadalus and Icarus and Lot and his wife) are in trouble of some form
-both are getting out of the trouble
-the weaker one does something stupid and disobeys God (Lot's wife, when she looks back at Sodom)/the smarter one (Icarus warns Deadalus not to get too close to the sun or the ocean- otherwise the wings will melt/he'll get caught in the wind and drown)
-the disobedient one dies, the other is sad

theme: don't disobey orders because not only will YOU be hurt, but those who care for you will sadden too. (don't be a troublemaker...)

Lot's wife disabeys the instruction not to look back, and is turned into a pillar of salt. Icarus disobeys the instruction not to fly close to the sun, and falls.
