ok I could have sworn I heard an acoustic version - and if not that, just a different version of the song "Everything You Want" by Vertical Horizon...Am I right? This is one version I heard (can be heard here): www.myspace.com/xotruexolovexo but I could have sworn I heard a different version?? Am I just going crazy lol?

No you probably are not going crazy many bands do have other versions to songs any that could be,

enhanced
and many more
Usually enhanced versions the music is redone and they sometimes change the lyrics in the song itself.
